ADHD is a lifelong neurodevelopmental disorder that affects attention regulation, impulse control and activity levels. It is classified into three types: inattention, Hyperactive-Impulsive and combined which indicates how the disorder presents.
Common traits can include: difficulties with task initiation and completion, impulsivity, time-blindness, restlessness and memory difficulties.

It is important to recognise that there are a high prevalence of neurodivergent individuals that present with AuDHD (combined ASD and ADHD).
Due to this, we offer screening of either disorders at every assessment alongside a combined assessment pathway.

The outcome of the above assessment tools are discussed within an MDT that adheres to the NICE gold standard i.e., SLT, OT and Psychology.
